The funny, flowers-no-vegetables garden is yielding baskets of cuttings for vases. Yes, I’m going to do this again. Only thing, next year there’ll be veges and raspberry plant starts from my mom. With frost weeks away, she says hopefully, there ought to be plenty of bouquets to come and then seed saving.

Today turned out to be a lovely day of accomplishment, even though the laundry awaits folding on the couch. I’ll do that while we play Scrabble till we’re yawning this evening.
I studied and scribbled and”gave” my workshop out loud to my living room. Well, what shall we cut out? Yeah, it’s finally to that point. I’m praising the Lord. I’ve had such good helpers: Jesus, my daughters, Jo, and last minute today Jennifer L Scott’s weekly Utube was hugely enlightening… All about time blocking the day for productivity. And my books. And those of you who I keep begging to pray for me. Don’t stop now, but I do thank you sincerely.
Speaking of books, I realized today that we need another book case at this house. I keep collecting books. How do you quit? Never mind, I really don’t want to know. After a while though, I have to put them somewhere.
I braved the hottest time of the day to go grocery shopping. Thank You, God for AC in all the places I have to be each day. Nobody will be surprised when the thunderstorms roll in by tomorrow afternoon.

Elv tackled the wasps that have been busily congregating in the soffit area of this old house. I can still kind of taste it and am not at all sure the wasps have had enough of it. Don’t worry, these are not the friendly bees who are busy in the garden. These are wasps, little guys, attempting a coup that must not happen.
