The railings are finally in! Elv has been doing this project for Tim and Amy’s house for a long time. I mean an hour or so at a time here and there, but yes, for months. Since it’s one of his favorite things to do, he hasn’t minded. Besides, it’s for Amy.

We have seven favorite children. But, let’s face it, he would do anything in his power for his daughters. They ask, and he’s on it. Truth be told, I’m thinking his kind of dad doesn’t just happen. I’m forever grateful to God for him. He takes good care of me, too, and the rest of his people.

I had coffee with cousins today. Actually, Ruth and Roxanne don’t drink coffee, poor things, but we had a really nice time anyway. There’s so much to catch up on. We always try, though. We talk as fast as we can. Heaven’s gonna be long enough, right?

We helped Amy clean up flower beds and her garden today, too. And we found more seeds for our seed saving/sharing project coming up at Christmas time.

Benny, Asher, and Angelie pulled up the corn stalks and threw them over the fence. Now Tim can till his garden under if he wants. Otherwise the snow can bury it and by spring all the dead stuff will be rotted and processed back into the soil.

The washer parts came today. This is all for today. It’s not nearly all there is, though.

I’ll say this much about it. Everybody around us… Most people, have something hard or un-fun, at least, going on, maybe even devastating or dangerous and they probably can’t talk about it. Wouldn’t it be nice if we’d pray for our people with the same diligence that our own stuff needs to be brought to Jesus?

Now, that’s all, for real.
