Evening Muffins

I make muffins by heart. Sort of. Sometimes I go look things up in the old farm journal recipe book to keep on track with the basics.

There are wild blackberries and pumpkin puree with plenty of spice in this batch.

I don’t remember such a warm fall as this ever before. It’s weird and wonderful both. Again there will be no freeze-up any time soon.

This is my treasured place of beauty and privacy for which I thank Jesus often and for the man in my life who makes these things possible. Did I mention that patio plants in September positively thrive on fish emulsion fertilizer? But, it stinks!

I do not have many words this time. I guess by now everyone knows that pictures can do just fine on this little blog.

  1. I’m so sad that I missed seeing the front of your place on Monday morning. That was one reason I wanted to go out through that door…but then I got sidetracked and had to hurry away and was still late getting back to Joe’s. I knew it would be lovely. And it is!!!

The muffins were delicious and so was the company.

    Love you.
