Glimpses

Jube has been getting drone pictures for us. This one of our home is lovely in my opinion. Almost forty years of memories and stories.  Each tree loved and considered, because trees. That dear old garden spot requires more amending of soil always, ad infinitum. Maybe it’s just time to have grass and apple trees instead.

Margie loves all the animals and the people in her life. She gently holds Juju’s face between her little hands. This warms my heart.

Jenny caught this with her camera. Green against snow is the best cure for SAD, ever. Especially when the sun gets involved.

It’s the time of year for new machines. Lance is enjoying this one. Now we can log! Aren’t those tracks pretty?!

Now here’s a glimpse of a new house nestled in the woods of northern Idaho. Yes, it’s not finished, but Francis says she reminds herself that they had not yet broken ground for it one year ago.

We had Cookie Day around here like old times. With a difference. This time I ordered boxes to divvy them into for taking home and sending through the mails to our Idaho people. It was so much fun.

The school Christmas program was well done. They made it into a lovely gracious evening for everyone.

Amy’s gift to her dad made us smile. It’s a non alcoholic Scandinavian, fruit and spice drink that we’re supposed to warm up to enjoy.

The new year is before us. What’s trending in your world for 2025? Isn’t that a funny question? As if it’s just gonna happen regardless.
