Today got a slow start. Saturdays should start slowly with coffee. Ours did nicely, today.

I had a list of house work and laundry. But somehow I found that I could no longer stand looking at that dark gap, hit and miss, along the corner trim and the ceiling or along the wall for that matter. Knowing I had white caulking and had finally learned the secrets of applying it, helped me to finally put an end to the sight of ugly, old house crookedness.
I gathered up my step stool and tools and keeping my dear old dad’s step stool mishap in mind, mindfully climbed up and down as needed to mend the issue. I did not fall and crack my crown, thanks Dad.

A little L&M Swiss Coffee paint here and there gave me back my clean kitchen. Kristine ought to be proud of me climbing down off my high horse to add a little detail to make things look much better. Sometimes, a little caulk can help, after all.

I also redecorated the top shelves in the kitchen. On one side you’ll see that I love letting my Scandinavian side show. And on the other that we definitely live in a cottage. Happy Winter.
