American Larch

I’ve noticed these before for you, so skip along to something else if you want. Yesterday we had wind gusts that gave us little dust whirlwinds and took down a tree back in the woods with a crash, and brought these interesting twigs down. Mom and I found them on the gravel when we were on our walk today.

There are pink flowers and baby needles and tiny cones and old cones and dried up flowers all on the same branch. I have no idea what everything is, except that it’s one of those antics of nature that goes unnoticed by most people.

While people struggle and haggle over “important” arguments and differences; larch trees just do their amazing blooms and needles and cones. I told Mom that I’d much rather marvel over nature than listen to the chatter of too many varied opinions. Of course, that’s just another opinion, but I’m telling you, God gets more glory from me about a larch tree in spring than who is right in a living room session.
