Picture post

This post has been languishing in my drafts folder for days. It’s pictures of our  vacation in  Idaho and Nebraska. Now I’ll hurry up and fill in some and send. Life has picked up here at home to a hectic pitch if we want. We’re not keeping up at all. But we can talk about that in a different post.

Francis borrows Grandpa’s tractor to do her projects herself. This patio area became the local hangout as you will see.

Our fence building with Brad’s turned their place into the place to host a bridal shower and a birthday party in the same week. Brad and Sierra are great hosts.

This was the day Mom and I met Shilah at the lake for a picnic and walking. It was a lovely day.

We spent a few evenings in the mountains. The idea was to drive up to the snow pack and then look at the views with binoculars.

Or have evening picnics.

Found our first trillium for 2025 in the Idaho mountains.

Then we headed back, through Glacier Park in the pouring rain. The next day we found the Wyoming landscape to be amazing in its own way. In Nebraska, we found more of our people who play Catan and have campfires.

Our last day of travel began with a brilliant sunrise and we found Minneapolis to be the only big city that we drove through in all of our three thousand miles of traveling.
