I’m always up for something new about music and here we are with two music projects on the burner.
I am excited about singing with Laura and Kristine this fall. We’re going to share some song at the ladies retreat. The whole business is fun: finding music, learning it myself on the piano, getting together to try it and generally looking forward to the whole process.
Besides, our family is launching out on a few music lessons together. We have lesson plans ordered and some time together for music penciled in on the calendar. For once, this Mom wasn’t the instigator. You know they’re grown up when the kids step up and say,”Hey, let’s…”.
And did you know that Moses was a song writer/poetry maker? We have at least three recorded pieces of his in the Bible. And there is some reference to singing at least one of them in the future for us. This certainly adds depth to my impression of Moses this week while I study our Sunday School lesson.
