My thoughts this morning deserve more than this quick little write. There’s more scribbled in my journal. More to consider. I love it when a collected batch of life’s gauges suddenly return to normal.

This morning we found out that the Gaza conflict has actually stopped. They’re dusting off, exchanging hostages and prisoners, and planning solutions for rubble.
We also found out this morning that we get to have our proper date back for next year’s Northland Ladies Retreat, after all. And for 2027. That ought to make quite a few people happy judging by the frequent questions and frustrations we heard when our favorite venue had booked our weekend for next year to others.(Later, the same day…Nevermind, we’re not out of the woods yet apparently. But we’re trying to trust God to work this out for us )

Besides those two momentous changes, the grandkids helped me to reach some goals around here yesterday that allows for my annual visit to see Mom to be relaxed and for me to feel up to date somehow. There’s a trellis around the raspberries and that bushel of apples is in the freezer in the form of sauce. Accomplishments that solace my goal oriented soul.
It’s like having a bunch of gauges suddenly drop out of the red to normal zone. Just like that, everything is running properly. I can sit back for a minute and rest.
Thank you, God, for Your goodness to us. We keep praying for things, but honestly we often wonder how you will fix this one. And then You do. Hallelujah!
There’s always more, so we trust You for them all. In Jesus name, Amen
Hey, me too. Its a great feeling! I can get my bachelors degree next spring, and start teaching next fall. Finally! My garden work is finished, harvesting over, packing up is good intil the government opens…
So glad for you Evie, you’ve been working for years for that bachelor’s.
