Songs We Send To Each Other

Elv and I are not officially old yet, but we send each other song clips sometimes that maybe kinda give us away, I guess.

I came home from my visit to the West, thankful for our own little world here. You know, tired but grateful. Feels like we have been running all summer and fall to reach certain goals. Reaching them. So I sent Elv a song yesterday, Here We Are by Dallas Holm, who is kind of a gospel song crooner-type singer, so it was all gentle and sappy. Sent it to Elv.

Today, I got a link to Alan Jackson’s song The Older I Get from Elv. Which made me smile. So typical of him and me. Our choice of songs.

Maybe we’re like the season. Still some leaves left.
