Never once thought of writing today. Here it is after nine.
We listened to our son tell us about lessons he’s learned from marriage from the pulpit this evening. The Sunday evening committee’s assignment was given to three of the men from church. He did a good job and I feel certain that he is a better spouse in his marriage than I am in mine. Anyhow, I’m proud of him and God gets the glory for sure.
I read a Helen Hoover book this week. It’s a North book about a couple from Chicago who moved to the Arrowhead of Minnesota way up in the boonies and lived through it. They might have gotten a boost out of proving to the old timers in town that yes, they “would make it” through that first winter of struggle and mistakes.
That’s all for today.
