I completely lost my stride. There are scribbles, but nothing tidy and post-able.
I’ve been studying the Sunday School lesson tentatively, not deeply. Who gets a kick out of the end times listing of signs and bad times!
This morning is not stellar for cleaning up my act. For ordinary reasons. But we press on. And we do not cave into feelings of failure. We endure until the end. Referencing said Sunday School lesson.
I realize that this writing challenge could be met in some of the same ways that we endure until Jesus comes.
To begin with, nobody can hand me thirty days of endurance or success for writing twenty minutes ahead of time. We are not handed a lifetime of victories and grace at the beginning. This is not how endurance happens.
We get interrupted. Plans change. Tragedy strikes. Or we just get worn out. For a day or two there’s no writing at all. Suddenly we know what praying without ceasing looks like, as far as enduring until Jesus comes in this day.
