Monday February 16
It’s warm and drippy today. Dear Lord, save some snow for the Birkebiener.
Yesterday was a good day. We went to church taking a warm apple crisp for carry-in lunch and we sat where we chose, arriving early. I taught a ladies Sunday School class and enjoyed it. Thank you, Lord. We talked about what enduring looks like. And concluded that we have too easy of access to TMI and it’s okay to not go there. We can live the gospel one customer, one neighbor, one child, and our family at a time. Our sermon came from Dave who preached straight out of the Bible. Good job.
We came home and lounged in the living room, I worked a puzzle. We read books and took a walk and then played Scrabble till bedtime.
Here’s my quiet time yield this morning. Psalm 147:1 Hallelujah! How good it is to sing to our God, for praise is pleasant and lovely. Psalm 135:3 Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good, sing praise to His name for it is delightful. Psalm 33:1 Rejoice in the Lord you righteous ones; praise from the upright is beautiful.
I reckon here is another great way to “endure” until Jesus comes.
