Waiting At My Gate

Waiting with a lot of other people. Our flight has been delayed. Not enough to cause any missed flights, apparently. Southwest seems to be nicely organized and relaxed. Cheaper, too. No first class and we got to pick our own seats.

But there’s nothing ordinary about floating along on the clouds, the wisps allowing for glimpses of the ground. From my window seat I can see the whole world, so to speak. I love flying to travel.

As we left Minneapolis our stewardess said, “Please fasten your seat belts; we’re gonna to go so fast, we’re gonna fly!”

That’s Lake McConaughy  and a dam below which  is the Ogallala Lake. Keeping my eyes open in the Denver airport. My next flight is soon boarding.

I found two sisters waiting for me in Bozeman. From here we went on to Billings where we found another sister. And Jeannie.

And in two hours we will be in Powell, Wyoming where Evie lives.
