It’s been one of those days where nothing went as planned. Honestly, the day has been long and weird. Elv woke at five in a full blown AFib episode that won’t give it up. So I missed Emilee’s wedding that took place on the beautiful north shore. We both tried to do a few chores around here. He put a cylinder back together and I sprayed the gravel weeds. Mostly we read books and sat around. Lucky for us I had invested a little time and effort in the kitchen yesterday, so there was chicken salad and jam bars for lunch. In the end, though the day was slow and somewhat blah, I am counting our blessings. We have peace with Jesus and our people. There’s pretty flowers and summer. We have a nice campfire. We have Gouda cheese squares and crackers. We get to sit for a minute and breathe.
