Dad, did I tell you how we lost and found the Graceton Depot? The Aunties and Trenda and I decided to go driving around to see the old places. When we drove into Graceton and crossed the tracks the old depot was missing. The Aunties noticed immediately and set up a howl of… Continue reading Another Post About Visiting Northern Minnesota With The Aunties
Here what's happening. Gwen has a new little brother. She has accepted him into her little world with open arms... And kisses...literally. Myles Andrew is not nearly as impressed with her as she is with him, apparently. But we are confident that one day they will be best friends. From where Gwen can survey her outside… Continue reading What’s Happening In Nebraska
We had a great reunion, with everything from tears and laugher to beard contests and water fights. Our family is spread out all over the US, from South Carolina to Idaho. I don't need to tell you how wonderful it is to be able to spend time with those who share your same roots, oddities, and… Continue reading Reunion
This post will be disconnected, busy, and hardly coherent...just like our days/world/life right now. Oops, Hannah forgot her serving frock, so I dug out a substitute and installed a new zipper for that. White… Continue reading Melinda’s Wedding…My Version

I cannot do justice to "Family Camping" in words or pictures. I truly am not trying to do that here. I am simply documenting that we had a good time, camped, and enjoyed the grandbabies.
Our children from Thailand and Nebraska came home to join the rest of our family for camping last week. We did everything: camping, Rook, outdoor cooking, singing, canoeing, fishing, and talking by the hour.
